Nominations are open for the 6th annual Canadian e-Tourism Awards, celebrating excellence in marketing tourism online. The awards will be celebrated this April at the 10th annual Online Revealed Conference in Toronto.
The Online Revealed conference brings together over 45 Destination Marketing Organizations, all major hotel brands, hotel management companies, attractions, agencies and suppliers for two days of education, networking, and to share in best practices and innovation in digital marketing.
The awards are organized and judged by a volunteer council from 10 of Canada’s top Provincial Destination Marketing Organizations to recognize the evolution and power of digital marketing for travel and tourism. Award categories include social media, mobile, traditional consumer websites and applications.
Nominations are open to any digital tourism brands, DMO’s, tourism operators, OTA’s, associations, attractions or hotels that are creating engaging Canadian travel stories online that illustrate innovation, creativity, and results in marketing Canadian travel experiences.
2014 winners included WestJet, Tourism Tofino, White Oaks Conference Resort & Spa, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia Tourism and TravelZoo.

- Best Social Media Campaign
- Best MobileApplication
- Best Online Campaign
- Best Website
- Best User Generated Content
The deadline for nominations is March 15th. Winners will be announced at a special presentation on April 1, 2015 held during the 10th annual Online Revealed Canada Conference in Toronto.
Online Revealed will once again bring industry experts from Expedia, BING, Hootsuite, Travelzoo, Tripadvisor and more to discuss key trends shaping the travel industry in Canada. 250 industry professionals are expected to attend the conference and awards.
